Jayla is originally from Indianapolis, IN and went to college in Bowling green ,KY where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Public Health as a first generation college student. During her early years Jayla knew she had a passion to give back to her community and was determined to achieve that goal. Coming from a single parent household Jayla knew at a early age she wanted to help women reach their highest potential. A the age of 20 Jayla started her first business doing hair for the younger girls in her community named Mi Amour. Jayla set out to help build the confidence of young women by offering low priced hair services. No matter what obstacles Jayla went through every trial, tribulation, and hurdle she managed to push through by the grace of God and her faith in God is what lead her to never give up and keep pushing forward. Strictly for the Girlz was created by Jayla during the month of march 2024 when she went through something tragic in her life and seen how her support system of women stood by her side and guided through her lowest moment. In that season of Jayla's life she knew that their where other girls around in her community who didn't get to experience this type of love and support and decided to be the change. Jayla Howard founded this organization on the principles of sisterhood, community and inspiration. Jayla hopes to help be the change to influence and empower women and young ladies to beam with confidence , help prepare for their future endeavors , and be the best versions of themselves while living up to their highest potential.
